On the Pole-Star, it is too cold, because it is the star of the Polar Cold. And the crazy castle is very badly protected against the cold. The crazy wizard feels cold enough every winter (in spite of the magical fires he put everywhere), he doesn't want to feel cold the whole year. Then, the crazy castle will end up catching a cold and shivering, and it will be very uncomfortable. It is better to avoid landing of the Pole-Star. ______ Sur l’Étoile Polaire, il fait trop froid, parce que c’est l’étoile du Froid Polaire. Et le château-fou est très mal protégé contre le froid. Le sorcier-fou a déjà trop froid tous les hivers (malgré les feux magiques allumés un peu partout), il n’a pas envie d’avoir trop froid tout l’année. Et puis, le château-fou finirait par s’enrhumer et par grelotter, ce qui n’est pas confortable du tout. Il vaut mieux éviter de se poser sur l’Étoile polaire. Comments

Anway grammar: "he doesn't want to feel cold..."  "To land of"... and what about Venus, for example?

 Wait a minute... landing on was actually correct. "To land on something", as opposed to "the land of something". In your case it's the first.
