Time to paint? - Du temps pour peindre?

I'm in holidays this week. Obliged holidays. The factory where I'm working goes bad. For the moment, we'll be only partly unemployed. What for tomorrows? Nobody knows. It will surely let me more time for painting.

Je suis en vacances cette semaine. Vacances forcées. L'usine où je travaille va mal. Pour le moment, nous ne serons qu'en chômage partiel. Et demain? Qui sait? Je vais sûrement avoir beaucoup plus de temps pour peindre.

I hope that there will be better times ahead for the factory, but in the meantime I'm sure you will enjoy the free time to paint. As they say, "every cloud has a silver lining."

Yes, surely. For me. But I'm thinking about younger workers, especially the couples who are working together in the same factory. It is the main reason why I hope the factory will not be closed at the end.
